Tiles For Teachers - We Need Your Help!
Everyone has that one high school teacher who made a difference in their life. Maybe he or she saw a talent in you nobody else did. Maybe they made you see the world in a different light or helped you finally realize that math isn’t really that horrible. Mira Costa’s history is filled with such teachers.
To honor the great teachers from the last 65 years at Mira Costa, the Alumni Association and our over 20,000 alumni funded the Tiles for Teachers project.
As part of the renovation of the high school, a tile the with name of teachers, teacher-coach, counselor, or administrator was incorporated into the redevelopment of the Quad.
The tiles serve as a lasting testament to the power of great teachers and a permanent way to honor their contribution.
